DaCha Water Sports Centre was founded in November 2002 by Ibrahim Shuman and Sergey Chuprov. In autumn 2003, Maxim Kolpakov joined them, and today he is the sole owner.
DaCha Centre is conveniently located on the shore of Moses Bay, in the town of Eltur, South Sinai, on the territory of Moses Bay Hotel (Magdolina). The hotel belongs to the municipality, so the service is not very good. Maxim will book your a room for you. And his wife Maria will provide everything you need: clean bed linen, towels and so on. Please, book in advance.
Inside Moses Bay the water is smooth. It is perfect for windsurfing, wing-foiling, kiting or paddling with a SUP. For those who want waves, there is an easy access to the lighthouse where the waves crash on the reef.
When good waves come in, you can book a truck to bring you to the wave spot. This spot is located a couple of kilometres away from Dacha.
The riding season is all year round. The water temperature does not drop below +20ºC even in the middle of winter.
There are no crowds of tourists and there are no five-star hotels in the town of Eltur. However, there are restaurants and food courts on the seafront, and most vendors speak English.
The visitors of DaCha Centre usually prefer to eat right at the Centre. One can choose to have breakfast, lunch and dinner or just breakfast and dinner. The Centre is like a spaceship equipped with everything you need.
The Centre has a kitchen, barbecue, hookahs, refrigerators, a large TV. Tea and coffee is always available at the desk. There are also chillouts for resting, a freshwater shower and a toilet.
The main feature of the Centre, of course, is the availability of an extensive range of equipment for riding at the sea. For windsurfing you can find here boards and sails for any level whether you are a novice or a pro. There are also windfoil boards for windsurfing with a hydrofoil available. At the Centre, there are also boards and wingboards for wingfoiling including a training board. There are SUP boards and paddles. And also there is a related equipment: wetsuits, life jackets, wetshoes, helmets.
For those who come with their own gear, the Centre offers a place for storage and a place for washing equipment after riding.
Dacha is a place where you will feel like at home. But with a warm sea nearby.
